Our 2nd graders have been studying "La Selva Tropical" or the Tropical Rainforest. We have learned about many of the animals that live there. The students wrote riddles in Spanish. Can you solve them? These riddles were written by 2nd graders during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 school year.

Schools, teachers, and students benefit in a variety of ways when teachers work together. A small but growing body of evidence suggests a positive relationship between teacher collaboration and student achievement. In Spanish class, I try to work with others to promote not only the Spanish language, but also an understanding and appreciation of other cultures.
|
Second graders learned about the rainforest in Spanish class. Along with the activities in Spanish class, they made animals and plants for the rainforest in Art class! The hallway by the Art room has turned into 'La Selva Tropical', and they have even included fun facts and riddles. This was a lot of fun, and is a wonderful addition to the halls here at GES - check it out!
